A leading integrated aviation services provider in Eastern Europe Avia Solutions Group established a new company AviationCV. The company will offer flight crew resourcing solutions for airlines.
Backed with full aviation training infrastructure at the largest aviation training center in Eastern Europe Baltic Aviation Academy, in 36 months AviationCV will prepare up to 200 full-time pilots for the most demanded aircraft types.
"With the increasing demand for air travel and expansion of fleets, airlines are already experiencing a shortage of pilots or are faced with rising costs of aviation crew wages. AviationCV is aimed to provide better employment opportunities for motivated pilots and crews in the developing countries and to offer cost-effective staffing solutions for airlines in the developed markets" - said CEO of AviationCV Darius Verbyla.
According to D. Verbyla, in 2010 airlines leased approx. 1600 pilots in the Middle East, 4700 in Europe and more than 9000 in the Asia-Pacific region, with a total market value of 101 million EUR. If the leased pilot share in total market will remain at steady 10 percent, in 2029 a total of 31 000 pilots will be leased in these three regions combined.
AviationCV will also offer a timely crew lease solution for airlines, experiencing large shifts in passenger traffic during summer and winter seasons.
Additionally, AviationCV will operate online aviation job search tool for aviation jobseekers at AviationCV.com
The clients of AviationCV will benefit from an increased reach into aviation personnel markets in the developing countries.
"As part of Avia Solutions Group, we have high expertise of working with developing markets. Approx. 80 percent of all Baltic Aviation Academy, an aviation training company in Avia Solutions Group, students come from developing countries such as Russia, CIS, India and China" - noted Darius Verbyla.
