FL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, is further extending the list of its engine management services and has recently introduced a brand new CF34-3 engine support package. The company has already agreed upon cooperation with a CIS-based carrier according to which it will provide comprehensive MRO support for the carrier‘s CF34-3 engines powering its Bombardier CRJ200 fleet.
The first set of engines has already reached FL Technics for the scheduled maintenance and repair works. Amongst other services, FL Technics specialists will conduct fan blade repair and replacement, foreign object damage (FOD) compressor repair, NDT testing, HPT modules replacement, as well as other maintenance works. The CF34-3 engine support services are to be provided both on-wing and during Shop Visits.
‘The market of Western-built regional jets in the CIS has only recently started developing. While such aircraft as CRJ200 are becoming more and more popular in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries, the local MRO support for these aircraft is still underdeveloped. By working in close cooperation with many local players, we can quickly adjust our capabilities to suit the local market trends. The fact that our customers have entrusted us with their CF34-3 engines proves that we are moving in the right direction. With regard to the ever-rising costs related to Engine and Component MRO services incurred by airlines, we hope that our latest CF34-3 project, along with our own stock of CRJ200 dismantled components, will help local carriers to optimize their MRO expenses and minimize the downtime of their aircraft,’ commented Jonas Butautis, the CEO of FL Techincs.
FL Technics holds all the EASA certificates required for integrated narrow and wide body aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services: EASA Part 145 (Maintenance Organisation Approval), EASA Part 147 (Maintenance Training and Examination Organisation Approval), EASA Part M (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation Approval) and EASA Part 21 (Design Organisation Approval).
