Avia Solutions Group, a WSE listed global provider of one-stop-shop aviation business solutions, is further expanding its services by launching its own private jet charter carrier KlasJet. The new carrier will be based in Vilnius, Lithuania, as well as in other airports throughout the EU and Russia.
„We are constantly monitoring the aviation industry development trends as well as the overall financial situation in the region. The economies of Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS have almost restored after the recent downturn thus paving the way for higher demand for business charter aviation as the most convenient mean of transportation for various corporate and private clients. Observing the potential of this trend, we have decided to enter the business charter market“, commented Gediminas Ziemelis, the Chairman of the Board of Avia Solutions Group.
Today approx. 800-850 business aviation flights are being performed daily in Russia, as well as Central and Eastern Europe. Moreover, while the Western European market is still volatile, the demand for VIP flights in the CIS region is growing by 2-5% per year.
KlasJet will start its operation with two Challenger 850 business jets, outfitted with a unique livery and an exclusive interior. In the long-term, it is planned that KlasJet will operate up to 10 corporate jets by 2018 including the Legacy and Hawker Business jet ranges.
„Unlike many brokerage companies, KlasJet operates its own fleet and employs own flight personnel, which perfectly understand the needs of VIP passengers. Our pilots and stewardesses fluently speak English, Russian and other languages thus ensuring smooth communication with the client during the flight. Backed by Avia Solutions Group, KlasJet has a wide range of partners which provide comprehensive additional high class services, including VIP and safety escort, leisure and event planning, VIP transportation and many other. Whether it is Russia, the CIS, Europe, Dubai or Singapore – we are ready to assist our clients wherever they need us. Furthermore, in order to ensure prompt support, we have also launched a 24/7 Customer Support Center available from any location worldwide“, comments Vitalij Kapitonov, the CEO of KlasJet.
KlasJet fleet is supported by Avia Solutions Group and its subsidiaries which hold EASA Part-145, EASA Part-147, EASA Part-21 and EASA Part-M certificates. This allows the carrier to control MRO, cabin refurbishment and modernization processes and ensure European quality and comfort.
