The Lithuanian aviation business group Avia Solutions Group has leased the second Boeing 737-500 aircraft to Tajikistan\`s national airline TAJIK AIR. The first one has flown from Lithuania to Tajikistan at the beginning of October.
The Lithuanian company has strategic cooperation agreement with Tajik Air and provides the Tajik airline with the integrated solutions in changing their aircraft fleet to the Western type aircraft, aircraft maintenance and repair, technical and crow training services.
"Our services for Tajikistan\`s aviation are part of our strategy - we have serious intentions to expand our business in this Asian region. We provide the Tajikistan\`s national airline with the complete service package that will help in the state aviation\`s transition to the Western standards", says Linas Dovydenas, CEO of Avia Solutions Group.
Two Boeing 737-500 aircraft was leased for five-year period by Avia Asset Management, part of Avia Solutions Group.
The aviation training company Baltic Aviation Academy, part of Avia Solutions Group, cooperates with Tajik Air in re-training of pilots. The theoretical part of the training, carried out by the Lithuanian instructors, was held in Dushanbe and the practical part of the training will carry out at the Baltic Aviation Academy in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Another ASG\`s company - the aircraft maintenance and technical support company FL Technics - signed agreement with TAJIK AIR for aircraft maintenance, parts supply, component repair and technical training. FL Technics Line maintenance station was opened in Dushanbe.
