The Lithuanian aviation business group Avia Solutions Group has added another aircraft to its fleet. The first of four Boeing 737-300 planned to acquire this year has arrived to Vilnius.
The aircraft was registered in the Civil Aircraft Register of Lithuania and received the LY-AWH number plate. The Lithuanian company FL Technics will carry out cabin reconfiguration works.
This aircraft was previously operated by British Airways and had been purchased from one of the Europe`s leading international aircraft leasing companies. Currently negotiations for the lease of acquired aircraft are being held with several foreign airlines.
"The demand for the aircraft lease stimulates the expansion of our business group`s fleet. Currently we negotiate for three more Boeing 737-300 aircraft we plan to purchase in the near future. These aircraft will allow us to consolidate stronger position at the Eastern European aircraft leasing market," said Linas Dovydėnas, CEO of the Avia Solutions Group.
According to Mr. Dovydėnas, Boeing 737-300 is the most suitable Boeing family aircraft for the Eastern region. "These middle-range aircraft are best adapted to the region`s flight market and, therefore, they are the most popular aircraft in our target region", said the Avia Solutions Group Director.
On the basis of a right of ownership and trust Avia Solutions Group, through its leasing company Avia Asset Management, currently owns 13 aircraft with the total value of over LTL 300 million. The aircraft of the Lithuanian company is being used by Kazakh, Tajik, Estonian, Lithuanian, and Italian airline companies. Later this year the number of aircraft under management should increase to 20-23 aircraft.
By providing airlines with integrated solutions, Avia Solutions Group helps them to form their aircraft fleets, change aircraft types as well as prepare the necessary crew and technical staff. The company provides consultations and defines the processes, how the airline company\\`s aircraft, training and maintenance management should be organized.
