AeroTime Group has announced management changes that see the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer in Mindaugas Gumauskas, who returns to the company to spearhead the next stage in its development. The current CEO, Richard Stephenson OBE, has been promoted to Chairman & Editor in Chief and will continue strengthening the global reputation of the company through his new role.
The changes come as AeroTime, the leading digital and professional hub for the aviation industry, announced its biggest ever readership numbers. Its aviation news website, www.aerotime.aero, reached almost 2.5 million unique users in April 2022.
Mindaugas Gumauskas said, “I’m delighted to be returning to AeroTime at this exciting time. While establishing the current AeroTime concept back in 2019, I always was certain there is a huge opportunity to develop AeroTime as a leading digital platform for all things related to aviation and I am looking forward to getting started working with Richard and all of the great team we have. Aviation is one of the most exciting sectors to work in and AeroTime has a role to play in informing, educating, and engaging with millions of people who both work in and follow the sector.”
Stephenson said, “After 18 months of building AeroTime as its CEO, I am delighted to be moving to a new role where I can focus on continuing to build the global reputation of this powerful aviation brand. I’m pleased to welcome Mindaugas back to AeroTime. His knowledge of the business and his experience in digital technologies and media will be vital as we move to the next stage of our development and I am very much looking forward to working with him as we continue our journey as one of the leading and fastest-growing aviation platforms.”
The changes will take effect from Monday 23 May.
