AirExplore, a Slovak airline and a member of Avia Solutions Group, the world's leading ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) service provider, is ramping up capacity for the upcoming summer season. The company is wet leasing all its fleet to customers across Europe while operating one cargo aircraft in a scheduled cargo program.
Since its inception in 2010, AirExplore grew to become Slovakia’s largest airline, working on a charter and ACMI basis with a wide range of tour operators, national sports teams, corporate clients and other airlines. After it joined Avia Solutions Group in 2023, the company focused on expanding its capacity. As of today, it operates a fleet of 14 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, comprising nine passengers and five cargo planes, poised to meet the soaring demands of the upcoming summer season.
According to Martin Stulajter, CEO of AirExplore, the number of signed contracts hints at the summer of 2024 being the busiest in the company’s history: "We are more than ever before committed to enhancing connectivity and service excellence across Europe. As we prepare for the busiest summer season in our history, our fleet will ensure robust support for our partners and exceptional experiences for our passengers."
AirExplore operates now a scheduled air cargo connection between Cologne, Billund and Keflavik.
In addition to operating charter flights itself, AirExplore also leases part of its passenger fleet to various European carriers under the ACMI model. The company’s cargo fleet, numbering five aircraft, enhances the capabilities of leading global logistics firms.
AirExplore's strategic vision is to respond dynamically to the increasing demand for travel and logistics solutions, further cementing the company’s role as a pivotal entity in the aviation sector. As the industry gears up for a record-breaking summer, AirExplore’s focus remains on providing reliable, efficient, and superior services to its clients and partners across the globe.
