AirExplore, Slovakia's premier airline, and member of Avia Solutions Group, the world's leading ACMI service provider, has earned a renewal of its IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification. This renewal further solidifies the airline's reputation for upholding world-class safety standards, adding to its nine years of certification.
The IOSA certification is a coveted safety qualification issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as a part of a program designed to assess the airlines' operational management and control systems. The renewal is in conjunction with AirExplore's expansion and adherence to regulatory safety requirements across the globe.
“I am pleased to see our successful renewal of this rigorous safety program during our international expansion,” Martin Stulajter, Chief Executive Officer of AirExplore said. “Safety has always been the highest priority of aviation business, and I am proud that our team has once again achieved the highest possible standards during this increased focus on commercial aviation safety.”
The IOSA certification renewal follows recent conditional regulatory approval by the US DOT to operate flights in the United States as a foreign air carrier. The US Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP) builds upon further expansion of the Slovak airline since its acquisition by Avia Solutions Group, including the addition of three 737-800F freighters, and the agreement to place four aircraft with Nigeria-based Air Peace this coming winter season.
