Avion Express Brasil, a subsidiary of Avion Express and part of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) provider, has achieved IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification.
The milestone confirms that the airline’s operational management and control systems meet internationally recognized aviation safety industry standards and marks an important step as Avion Express Brasil continues to expand its presence across the Brazilian and Latin American markets.
“ACMI airlines must meet the highest operational requirements, as our model depends on integrating seamlessly into our partner airlines’ operations while ensuring operational excellence. Achieving IOSA certification confirms that our systems, procedures, and safety culture meet the industry’s rigorous international standards. This certification also reflects our team’s dedication and our long-term commitment to supporting airlines across Brazil and Latin America,” said Fernando Amaral Chief Technical Officer and Interim CEO of Avion Express Brasil.
The certification followed months of preparation and an extensive audit assessing Avion Express Brasil’s compliance with international safety standards and recommended practices across key operational areas, including operational control, training quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
“Avion Express and Avion Express Brasil have worked closely together since the establishment of our AOC in Brazil. From the outset, our goal has been to share the knowledge, expertise, and best practices we have developed over more than 20 years in the ACMI industry and adapt them to the Brazilian market. Achieving IOSA certification is an important confirmation of that approach, and we are confident in Avion Express Brasil’s continued growth and success,” said Vytenis Suklys, CEO of Avion Express.
The achievement further strengthens Avion Express Brasil’s position as an ACMI partner for airlines seeking additional capacity, greater fleet flexibility, and operational resilience during seasonal demand peaks, network expansion, and unforeseen disruptions.
