Brazil National Civil Aviation Agency has issued to Baltic Aviation Academy (Vilnius, Lithuania) an approval certificate for Boeing B733-007 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) for Brazilian airlines’ pilot training.
‘Being approved by Brazil National Civil Aviation Agency, Baltic Aviation Academy enters Brazilian aviation industry. We strongly believe that this approval shows our training center credibility in developing future aviation personnel in this rapidly growing region’, commented Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO at Baltic Aviation Academy.
According to the ‘Boeing Current Market Outlook 2012 – 2031’ the installed fleet in Latin America region is expected to grow 5.1 percent annually to comprise 3,450 airplanes, including 2,510 new deliveries. The twin-aisle fleet is expected to expand to 340 airplanes. According to the pilot outlook, such aviation fleet growth will require up to 42 000 new pilots.
Next to Brazil National Civil Aviation Agency authority approval for Boeing B733-007 Full Flight Simulator, training course completion certificates issued by Baltic Aviation Academy are valid in the European Union, Israel, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Pilots at Baltic Aviation Academy are being trained by 150 training instructors, most of which come from Western European countries.
