Having recently won one more tender, the international ground handling, aircraft fuel supply, and logistics service provider BGS will continue to supply aviation fuel to Wizz Air, its partner since 2011. The contract stipulates that fuel supply at Kaunas, and Vilnius airports, where BGS and Wizz Air were already working together, will continue for another year until 31 March 2025. Notably, this contract also marks the reintegration of the Tallinn location into the scope of the partnership for the same time period.
According to Vitalis Dudys, the BGS Group’s Head of Commerce: “We are very happy about this opportunity to further consolidate our partnership with Wizz Air by providing the airline with the quality services that they expect from us. I am sure that mutual professionalism and focus on long-term relationships will ensure our cooperation in the future, as well.”
The high quality standards, exceptional attention to safety, and flexibility in adapting to client needs that BGS has shown are among the key aspects noted by Wizz Air representatives. All this helped the airline make the decision to extend the contract.
Fuel supply contracts have been signed with all the active divisions of Wizz Air, namely: Wizz Air Hungary, Wizz Air UK, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, and Wizz Air Malta.
BGS is part of the Avia Solutions Group – the world’s largest ACMI service company group, which operates a fleet of 212 aircraft. Companies belonging to the group also provide a variety of other aviation services, such as aircraft repair, pilot and crew training, and ground handling.
