FL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has started cooperation in a Power-by-Hour (PBH) program with a Thai cargo airline – K-Mile Asia. FL Technics will ensure continuous spare parts supply for the carrier’s Boeing 737 freighters.
With two Boeing 737-400SF aircraft, K-Mile Asia operates air cargo charter flights across South East Asia. Starting September 2016, FL Technics will ensure both routine and ad hoc (AOG) spare parts delivery to the carrier’s hub at Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), Bangkok, Thailand. The agreement also covers spare parts deliveries to airports in Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, as well as other destinations in the region.
“Suvarnabhumi airport is a major aviation hub for both passenger and cargo transportation. In order to ensure smooth operations from this airport, airlines need reliable partners that can provide prompt and, most importantly, quality support, including spare parts supply. We are thankful to our colleagues at K-Mile Asia for choosing us as their MRO partner,” shared Zilvinas Lapinskas, CEO of FL Technics. “The new cooperation is also yet another contribution into promoting European standards across the Asian Pacific MRO market. Each year, we aim to bring a wider range of our EASA-compliant products to the region thus assisting it in becoming more efficient and safe.”
