Aviation training centre Baltic Aviation Academy (Lithuania) launched summer season services package. From June 10th till September 1st 10 aviation related summer activities are introduced to the pilots and cabin crew trained in company headquarters in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Contracts with 25 partners signed to provide aviation related summer activities in between the pilot and cabin crew trainings at Baltic Aviation Academy. Aviation related summer activities include hot air ballooning, parachute jumping, visual flights with a single-engine aircraft, visiting astronomical observatory and country‘s aviation museums.
“Summer season is the busiest season for the airlines and the most stressful for the pilots. Numerous flights and nice weather through the cockpit window create a huge stress for the flight crew. We invite other aviation training organizations to join the initiative and help pilots and cabin crew recharge in between their trainings.”, said Vaiva Bajorunaite, Chief of Concierge Services at Baltic Aviation Academy.
Human error factors were cited as the primary problem in 74 commercial aviation safety incidents reported at Denver International Airport (DIA) since 2005, according to a NASA database of voluntary, anonymous reports from pilots and others. Human factors such as tiredness, sleep deprivation, poor stress management cited as contributing factors.
Next to aviation related summer services package, in June 2011 Baltic Aviation Academy introduced 20 new leisure activities including sighteing, guided excursions, relaxation at the seashore, visiting adventure parks, soviet celebrities museums and active leisure offers such as kayak trips and jeep off-road countryside excursions. Introduced in 2010, medical service package provides activities typically sought by medical tourism travelers. Aviation professionals studying at the academy may choose from elective procedures such as prophylactics to the complex specialized services including gynecology, pulmonologist and cosmetic surgeries.
Established in 2009, Baltic Aviation Academy Concierge department provides services from accomodation, plane tickets and Visa support to transportation, leisure services and excursions.
