BBN Airlines Indonesia, an ACMI specialist, provider of charter flights, air freight services, and subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, has received Basic Aviation Risk Standards (BARS) certification from the Flight Safety Foundation. The certification highlights the airline's commitment to flight safety, recognizing its adherence to the highest internationally recognized standards.
“This certification is vital to BBN Airlines Indonesia's plan to grow in the Asia-Pacific region as it demonstrates our compliance with international safety standards,” Martynas Grigas, Chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia, said. “With this BARS certification, conversations with both regulators and pilots will begin with an understanding that BBN Airlines Indonesia has a reputation for prioritizing safety in their operations, reinforcing our position as a trusted and reliable air carrier in Indonesia and beyond.”
For its part, the US-based Flight Safety Foundation is a leading non-profit organisation focusing on aviation safety, research, education, and advocacy. BBN Airlines Indonesia joins the ranks of the world's largest airlines that hold this certificate, after demonstrating the ability to assess and manage the specific risks that are a part of each unique aircraft movement through a series of safety audits and evaluations by independent inspectors.
“This certification shows BBN Airlines Indonesia’s commitment to providing world-class aviation services, giving passengers and business partners confidence in the airline’s focus on safety, reliability, and excellent service throughout the Asia-Pacific region,” Grigas said.
The BARS certification follows the earning of Foreign Air Operator permits in Singapore in September, and Australia in August. BBN Airlines Indonesia expects to continue growing its operations and coverage in the region.
BBN Airlines Indonesia is a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI provider, operating a fleet of 214 passenger and cargo aircraft worldwide.
