On the 27th of June 2012 Baltic Ground Services (BGS) will start providing integrated passenger and aircraft ground handling services for the Icelandic low-cost carrier Iceland Express. According to the recently signed agreement, BGS will serve the airlines’ flights to the Keflavík International airport (Reykjavik) at Vilnius International airport.

The Iceland Express passengers flying between Vilnius and Reykjavik will be carried in the company’s Airbus A320 accomodating up to 168 air travellers. The first flight from Vilnius is scheduled on the 27th of June.
The Baltic Ground Services clients’ list contains the names of such aviation companies as Finnair, LOT, Aer Lingus, Brussels Airlines, Aeroflot, Transaero, Wizz Air and others. The company owns the license to provide ground handling services in Lithuania and the six largest aorports in Poland: Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Poznan.
